Fishing at Blue Heron Resort is a favorite activity, but it is also a great place for bird watchers, nature lovers, photographers, and people who just want to get away to relax. Our family resort offers Modern fully-equipped Cottages and RV sites.

Our cottages are with 3 – 4 piece bathrooms, kitchens with appliances, cookware, dishes, cutlery, all linens & combination TV/VCRs.

The resort has a children’s playground, TV lounge, horseshoe pits, swimming deck, and a badminton volleyball area. There is fun for the entire family.

Fishing the Spanish River or the North Channel of Lake Huron offers anglers a wide variety of fishing action and beautiful scenery.

Here you can always find a quiet place to go fishing. Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, and Perch tend to be the most sought after, but there are also Muskie, Crappie, Panfish, Catfish, Rainbow Trout, Salmon, and more.

We are the only resort on the lower Spanish River, which offers some of the best fishing in Ontario. We have a quiet, secluded setting even though we are just one mile off of highway 17.
